选C，要填的地方是做主语，主语可以是名词，代词，或名词性短语，A中dressed可看做是adj，adj不可做主语。B中，dress一般用被动态，所以不行。D中，同B。所以选C。

评：next winter前应加上一个定冠词the表示特指。
